The ESCON planning group has devised two days of educational programming to explore current issues in the world of higher education and IT, including LSAC services. Session topics include social networking, survey tools and web-stats, and maintenance of a web presence. There are also sessions designed to stimulate discussion on various "Hot Topics." The conference is intended to provide a forum for an exchange of ideas and information among law school admission officers and IT professionals, and to build vital partnerships between these groups and LSAC. We encourage all member schools to consider sending both admission and IT professionals.
ESCON will be held April 1-3 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, New Orleans. The conference begins on Wednesday evening with a hospitality suite. It will conclude on Friday afternoon when the last session is completed.
The cultural experiences, rich heritage, and marvelous eccentricities that define the New Orleans experience continue to flourish. The Crescent City is full of complexities and contradictions, but its multifaceted personality somehow blends into an offbeat harmony that defines the city’s unmistakable charm. While you are visiting, you will find a multitude of activities for your free time, including historic Bourbon Street in the French Quarter, Central Business District, Warehouse and Arts District, Magazine Street, Garden District, Audubon Park and Zoo, and St. Charles Avenue. Come celebrate and see for yourself.
Known as the "Grand Hotel in the French Quarter," the Royal Sonesta Hotel is located where the air is alive with atmosphere and originality. With its distinctively European style and beautiful architecture, you'll find a casual but sophisticated ambience, a world-class art collection, a lush tropical courtyard, and a unique cabaret bar.
